I don’t think I can fit everything I want to say into this review. The venues extremely accommodating and so helpful. All of the employees are absolute rockstars and clearly love doing what they do. Isabella stands above the rest, she went above and beyond helping out cleaning and answering questions. Some of the engaged couples at the wedding wanted to hire her to come help with their weddings. What a magical night, I would not have changed a single thing, I just wish I could do it again.

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my wedding at The Rustic Rose Barn, and I’m thrilled to share that it was an absolutely magical experience. From the moment we arrived, the venue’s charm and elegance were evident. The venue space created the perfect backdrop for all our photos. The venue has horses onsite that you can take photos with and the pictures came out stunning. They also have great space for guests to mingle and play yard games in the spacious outdoor setting. They have the cutest space for you and your girls to get ready and even a grooms room with a poker table for the boys! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception space accommodated to our guests perfectly. Susan and Ashley are so amazing to work with. Their professionalism and warmth made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring that everything went off without a hitch. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue and how beautiful it was. We couldn't be happier with how smooth our day went with the help of The Rustic Rose Staff! The Rustic Rose Barn was a fantastic venue for our wedding ceremony and reception! Susan and her staff were amazing and very helpful throughout the planning process and during our special day! We felt very welcomed and genuinely cared for throughout the whole process. The barn is gorgeous and rich with history. While we were wedding planning we discovered that the antique carousel in Story City was renovated in the barn in 1900, and we reserved the carousel for a private photo shoot and ride during our wedding party photos! We loved the historical tie to our wedding space. The venue is absolutely gorgeous with the large chandelier in the center of the dance floor and the string lights and drapery wrapped around the old wood beams. It’s classically elegant with the perfect touch of rustic. There was plenty of decor to borrow from the wedding but we also liked that we could bring in our own touches. The getting ready rooms were a lovely addition and the girls really liked the style of the bridal suite. We really enjoyed the outdoor space for our ceremony, and the pond for sunset photos. The outdoor patio was also a great place for guests to hangout and socialize after dinner! We received so many compliments on our venue selection and the helpful staff. This is the absolute best wedding venue!! The whole weekend went very smoothly. The venue help was so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a rustic barn wedding venue look. Very helpful that we could borrow some of the decor at the venue. We loved the getting ready rooms to enjoy the time with our wedding party. I 100000% recommend the Rustic Rose as a wedding venue! The staff are amazing and so sweet! They are all so helpful when things are confusing or if you need help with anything! They are one of the most reasonably priced venues we found when we were searching for a wedding venue. Susan and her amazing team were so kind and genuinely cared about our day as perfect as it can be! They work with you on payments and do not require you to cater dinner! i wish I could replay this day forever! They also let you use their items at a much cheaper cost than any other place we had looked at! If you are considering this venue, just do it! Best decision EVER!

Well, our wedding was in July 2021 and I’m just now realizing I never wrote a review for the fabulous Susan and Ashley!! We were supposed to have a 2020 wedding and switched to the Rustic Rose Barn just 30 days before our wedding due to so many covid policies at our first venue. We ended up having to postpone, so not only did Susan squeeze us in last minute, she kindly rescheduled with us no issues!! Truthfully a red barn isn’t exactly my vibe but our wedding day was the best day of our lives regardless of that. It was stress free and an absolute blast! Things are simple effortless at Rustic Rose Barn and is just perfect if you want an easy going wedding day. We can’t thank Susan enough for being so gracious and understanding and allowing us to have one of the most memorable days of our lives. The pricing and amenities (including valet parking!) are great, the property is beautiful and Ashley and Susan want to work with you to help you have the day you want. I highly recommend Rustic Rose Barn.

The Rustic Rose Barn was a fantastic venue for our wedding reception! We had our ceremony at a different location, but loved having the reception out here. The barn itself and surrounding land has lots of natural beauty and charm! The string lights and drapery in the ceiling are kept up for all events so the venue doesn't need much added decor. We loved the outdoor space to have yard games and provide separation for those that didn't want to be around loud music all night. Throughout our reception we got several compliments on how great the venue was! Susan and Ashley were great to work with throughout the process. They are both very kind, great with communication, and will try their best to ensure your day goes as planned. Some other places may try to get you to buy an unnecessary amount of alcohol, but they were very honest in helping us decide what would be a good amount to host and what would end up being too much. Overall we had a great experience and I would recommend Rustic Rose!

Nic and I's wedding at the Rustic Rose was the best day!! Susan, Ashley, and the Rustic Rose staff all made that day possible. The meetings you have beforehand with both are great! They ask all the key detail questions to make the day run much smoother. On the day of the wedding, I had no worries at all and enjoyed the whole day thanks to the staff. From the bartenders to the valet attendants all aspects ran smoothly and all workers were a joy to Nic and me and our guests. We can't recommend this place enough!!
